Commercial Service Manager
We are seeking an experienced and organized Commercial Roofing Service Supervisor/Manager to lead our service operations team. This role combines field knowledge with administrative and leadership responsibilities — managing a team of technicians, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, generating proposals, and serving as the primary point of contact for property managers. The right candidate brings both hands-on roofing expertise and professional communication skills.

What You'll Do:
- Supervise and guide a team of service technicians handling multiple work orders daily and weekly
- Acknowledge leak repair requests within 2–3 hours of receipt
- Schedule and dispatch leak repair service within 4–6 hours of notification
- Generate detailed, professional proposals using office software
- Coordinate with roofing suppliers and manufacturers for materials and warranty compliance
- Professionally communicate with property managers regarding service status, scheduling, and proposals
- Review and approve technician work orders and field documentation
- Monitor technician performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Assist in estimating, project planning, and service scheduling
Response Time & Expectations:
This role requires prompt and professional responsiveness. Leak repair requests must be acknowledged within 2–3 hours of receipt, and service scheduling must be confirmed within 4–6 hours. The Service Manager is the central communication hub between property managers, technicians, and company leadership.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid field/office role. The Service Manager will divide time between the job site and administrative responsibilities, operating from both a mobile office environment (company truck with ladder rack) and desktop/laptop. Occasional rooftop visits to support the team are expected.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in single-ply roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Built-Up Roofing (BUR) systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in metal roof systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient computer skills — must be able to generate complex proposals and manage documentation
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with clients, crews, and vendors
- Proven ability to manage and mentor field technicians
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active work orders simultaneously
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, including leadership or supervisory role
- Experience with roofing service management software or CRM platforms
- OSHA 30 certification
- Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Firestone, Carlisle, or similar)
- Experience preparing and submitting warranty documentation

What You’ll Own
Own the Job Site- Lead daily operations for multifamily and commercial roofing projects
- Perform inspections to assess scope, progress, and quality
- Make real-time decisions to keep projects on track
- Manage subcontractors and field crews
- Set expectations around quality, timeline, and safety
- Hold teams accountable while building strong working relationships
- Manage materials, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
- Communicate with property managers and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard
What We’re Looking For

- Background in construction, production, or hands-on environments (painting, trades, project-based work, etc.)
- Comfortable working at heights (commercial/MFA properties)
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces

Compensation & Perks
